The Japanese railway network is well known and respected for its punctuality, train density, operation speed and its unique safety record. In order to maintain this high track quality, special machinery is required. That’s where Nippon Plasser joins the stage. We closely work together with the Japanese railways and track maintenance companies in order to develop individual solutions for their needs.
Nippon Plasser started with only four employees in 1971 and since has been serving as a direct link between our customers in Japan and Plasser & Theurer in Austria. In order to meet the increasing demands of our Japanese customers, we moved to our current head office in Tokyo in 1993, opened our training center in 2006 and two other offices in Nagoya and Hiroshima.
